Refund & Return Policy

Overview
We stand behind everything we sell. If something's not right with your order, we want to make it right. Returns and refunds are subject to the terms below, but the short version is: we're not going to make this difficult for you.
30-Day Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for most items. To be eligible for a return:
- Item must be in its original, unused, and unmodified condition
- Item must be in original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and documentation
- Item must not show signs of installation, wear, or damage
- You must have proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Items that have been installed, modified, or show signs of use
- Items with removed or altered serial numbers
- Special order or custom-built items
- Clearance or final sale items (marked as such at time of purchase)
- Gift cards
- Items returned without original packaging
- Items damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper storage
- Ammunition (due to safety regulations)
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at sales@ironsaddlearmory.com or call (386) 243-9223 with your order number and reason for return.
- Receive RMA Number: We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions. Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted.
- Pack Securely: Pack the item securely in its original packaging. Include all accessories, manuals, and the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the package.
- Ship the Item: Ship the item to the address provided. We recommend using a trackable shipping method with insurance.
Return Shipping Costs
- Defective/Damaged Items: We will provide a prepaid shipping label for items that arrive defective or damaged.
- Change of Mind/Incorrect Order: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.
- Our Error: If we shipped the wrong item, we will provide a prepaid shipping label and expedite your correct order.
Restocking Fees
The following restocking fees may apply:
- Standard returns (change of mind): No restocking fee if item is in original condition
- Items with opened packaging but unused: 10% restocking fee
- Items showing minor signs of handling: 15% restocking fee
We reserve the right to refuse returns or apply additional fees for items that do not meet our return conditions.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- We will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Refunds will be credited to your original payment method
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable (unless the return is due to our error)
- Please allow an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement
Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. If you need a different item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the desired item. This ensures faster processing and that you receive the correct product promptly.
Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a defective or damaged item:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos of the damage and packaging
- Do not discard the packaging until the claim is resolved
- We will arrange for return shipping and send a replacement or full refund
Warranty Claims
Many of our products come with manufacturer warranties. For warranty claims:
- Contact us first - we may be able to assist with the warranty process
- Some warranty claims must be handled directly with the manufacturer
- Keep your proof of purchase for all warranty claims
- Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer and product
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order:
- Contact us immediately - cancellations are only possible before the order ships
- Orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled and must go through the return process
- Cancelled orders will receive a full refund including shipping charges
